1. The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account, decide eligibility, and move money.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We share it only with companies that help us provide the Services, with our funding partner, or when the law requires it.
- We never see or store your online banking password.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@skiptofriday.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, mobile number, and password.
- Identity details we may need to verify you, such as date of birth, home address, and the last four digits or full Social Security number where required by law.
- Messages you send us, including through our contact form.
Information from your linked bank account
Through [Bank-link provider], we receive account and routing numbers, balances, deposit history, and transaction history for the account you link. We use this to determine eligibility, set your advance limit, deliver advances, and collect payments.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage details, such as IP address, device type, browser, app version, and pages or screens you visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies that keep you signed in, remember preferences, and help us understand how the Services are used.
3. How we use your information
- To open and manage your account and membership.
- To decide whether you qualify for advances and how much.
- To send advances, collect repayments and fees, and send related notices and reminders.
- To verify your identity and prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To improve and fix the Services.
- To meet legal, regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.
- To send you updates about SkipToFriday. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
5. How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login details private and tell us right away at support@skiptofriday.com if you think your account has been compromised.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, regulatory, tax, and fraud-prevention requirements and to resolve disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: ask for a copy of your information or to fix anything that's wrong.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information. We'll delete what we can, but we may need to keep some records to meet legal requirements or while an advance is outstanding.
- Marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or reply STOP to marketing texts.
- Bank access: unlink your bank account by canceling your membership or contacting us. Unlinking ends your ability to get advances.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
